Class Options:

Mixed Media

$40.00

The Mixed Media art course introduces students to the techniques and creative possibilities of multiple art mediums-such as graphite, ink, colored pencil, acrylic paint, watercolor and oil pastels. Students will develop an understanding of layering, texture and color theory, and will have the opportunity to experiment with different art styles while being encouraged to cultivate personal expression. This course is targeted towards students who are interested in more colorful and diverse opportunities for their artwork.

Drawing

$40.00

The Drawing course provides an introduction to the fundamentals of drawing for students whose main interests are in graphite and ink drawings and who strive for realism in their artwork. This course may occasionally incorporate colored pencils, however the main focus lies in grayscale art. Instruction will focus on observational drawing of subjects such as still life, landscape, the human figure, and animals. Students will explore technical skills in value, line, proportion, perspective, and texture in depth along with experimenting with creative personal expression and individual style.

Artist Studies

The Artist Studies course is automatically included with both the Mixed Media and Drawing courses. Artist Studies offers a hands-on approach to learning about famous artworks and an overview of the history of the artists who made them. By recreating famous works of art, students will analyze major figures and examine their techniques themes, and cultural impact.

Who we are

Welcome to Art On Demand, an art education program for elementary aged children, middle schoolers and high schoolers. With Art On Demand, art lessons are brought to you through in-person mobile classes taking place in your own home. Each learning journey is unique and personalized for every student’s individual level and is geared towards the subjects that encourage and inspire each of them.

Art On Demand primarily offers private art lessons for one hour each. For consistency and the best progress results, weekly lessons are recommended, however accommodations can be made according to your needs. Group classes are available-please contact me with any interest in classes for more than one student at a time as the price varies depending on the situation.

Supplies are provided, without any additional cost, and the supplies students receive during the course are theirs to keep.
